Consumer Participation

At the Health Consumers’ Council, our purpose is to raise awareness and advocate for health consumers’ rights in Western Australia. We provide information, advice and training for people wanting to be involved in consumer activities and groups.

The Health Consumers' Council is regularly contacted by hospitals, health services and other providers looking for consumers to participate in giving feedback and information into their planning, service delivery, evaluation and decision making processes. Participation ranges from attendance to one-off forums, to attendance at specific Consumer Group meetings typically held around once per month or as advised by the group.
