Health Issues Group
The Health Issues Group (HIG) meets on the first Thursday of every second month, 1 pm to 3 pm at our office in Wellington Fair, 40 Lord Street, East Perth.
This forum is open to Health Consumers' Council members interested in raising health consumer issues in Western Australia.

The Terms of Reference of the Health Issues Group are:
- To IDENTIFY health issues of concern to Western Australians.
- To REFER as appropriate matters raised to agencies or groups with an interest or responsibility for the issues raised.
- To GENERATE creative solutions or approaches to the problems identified, and refer these onto: - the staff - or the Board - or a working group established for the purpose that includes members of the Health Issues Group.
- To PROVIDE ADVICE to the Board on matters referred to the Health Issues Group by the Board or staff of the Health Consumers' Council.
- To FOLLOW UP actions taken in respect to issues raised.

HIG Community Forums are also held on the first Thursday of March, May, July and September. The HIG Community Forums are open to the public and all are welcome. For further details regarding the forums, contact the Health Consumers' Council at 9221 3422 or info@hconc.org.au.
