Rosemary Caithness Award

This award is to acknowledge outstanding service to health consumers. This award is highly selective and typically the recipient has supported health consumers over many years. The Health Consumers’ Council will only award the Rosemary Caithness Award should there be a worthy recipient in any given year.

And the Winner is…Marian Maughan

Since 2000, at LADS (Learning and Attentional Disorders Society) Marian has worked with and collaborated with numerous health professionals, peers and consumers. As a Board member for more than 16 years, Marian has undertaken a range of roles and tasks to support people affected by Learning and Attentional Disorders and their families. Marian actively engages with clients, members, volunteers and the wider community and the media, to ensure accuracy in the reporting of facts and helping to educate others regarding common “myths” about this neurobiological disorder.
